Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Greetings with Pumpkin are so joyous that she sometimes jumps for kisses, so children in the home should be 6 years old or older. She is so gentle a two year old can take a bone right out of Pumpkin's mouth with no trouble. She has a very submissive temperament, but she does get little jealous around other dogs, and tries to push her way into any hugs/petting that are being given. She will also try to distract the other dog with play wresting to get more attention from her human friends. She is very active and would be a great partner for a short distance jogger. She is mostly an indoor dog, but is very active. Pumpkin is very much a companion dog, and would do fine as a single dog or in an apartment as long as she had some long walks each day. She only wants to be fed/get treats or bones in her crate, with the door closed, so that she knows no other dog would be trying to get them. She would do best in a family that has someone who stays home during the day to snuggle, talk, or walk with her. Pumpkin is crate trained and feels safer in her crate if her person must leave her for short periods during the day. Her favorite activities are digging, tug of war, trips in a car, napping at noon in her crate after lunch, and being in someone's lap.
