Xavier's Story...
Woof! I’m Xavier! I’m a kind-hearted fellow whose estimated birthdate is July, 2012. I was found as a stray around Green Bay, WI..and boy, was I skinny!! I arrived at Happily Ever After in May, 2013, and have been putting on the pounds ever since! I’m super-duper excited to find out what living in a loving forever home is like! I promise that I would try really hard to be a sweet and good boy! I hope you consider giving me a chance, and stopping by HEA's Green Bay Adoption Center to meet me on weeknights from 6-8 pm, and weekends from 11 am-4 pm! Hugs, Xavier

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Xavier, a Green Bay Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Green Bay, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Green Bay.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Green Bay already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Green Bay breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Green Bay paves the way for another one to be saved.
