Hee-Man's Info...

I am already neutered, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Hee-Man's Story...
“By the power of Grayskull…I have the power! I am Hee-Man, Master of the Universe!” Do you remember that 80s cartoon? My name is Hee-Man and I’m trying to be brave and strong like the cartoon character. I wish I had the power to bring my special person to come visit me today.

Not much is known about my past. I was found as a stray and the person who found me wanted to keep me, but his landlord wouldn’t allow it. My person did find out though that I got along well with dogs. I also do pretty well with other cats, which is a good thing since I’m surrounded by them here at MaxFund.

You can tell from my pictures that I have some Maine Coon in me, and I’m told I have a Maine Coon personality. Besides being very handsome, I’m a total lover and just melt when given attention. I love cozying up to you, sprawling on your lap, head rubs, brushing, and tuna. Just thought I’d throw that last part in, because what cat doesn’t love tuna?! I’m a young boy, so I would probably be pretty playful too once I settle in to a home. I’m still getting used to being here at MaxFund, so things like loud noises make me nervous.

I have tested positive for FIV. What does that mean? It means that I probably shouldn't live with someone who smokes. FIV is not transmittable to dogs or people, and it is transmitted to cats only via penetrating bites. And I can still live a long and healthy life.

“I am Hee-Man and I have the power!” Listen closely; can you hear me saying that? That’s the cue for your lines. Just say, “I’m coming to take you to your new castle, Hee-Man!”

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hee-Man, a Denver Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Denver, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
