Izzy's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Izzy's Story...
Izzy and her brother Ozzie are 10 month-old Domestic Shorthair siblings looking for new homes. Their owner had to move back to the Midwest to live with her children, and a cat allergy prevented these playful youngsters from moving too. Although they were raised together, Izzy and Ozzie are not bonded and may be adopted separately.

Izzy, a spayed female, is a sleek grey tabby with dark grey stripes, a dark tipped tail, and green eyes. She is an alert, attentive kitty with good manners and a graceful step. She is an expert cuddler who loves people; expect to wake up next to her in your bed!

Izzy and her brother were born in July 2012, with Izzy the somewhat smaller of the two. They were raised in a multi-dog home, and they are also friendly to other cats and to children. This cat would be a welcome addition to a multi-pet home or to an owner who can adopt her with her brother.

Izzy is currently staying at our PetSmart location.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Izzy, a Gilbert Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Gilbert, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Gilbert.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gilbert already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gilbert breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gilbert paves the way for another one to be saved.
