Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Harley is a beautiful 10 month old lab mix (as of mid-May). He weighs about 50 lbs and is so sweet once he gets to know you. He will need another dog in his home to feel the most confident and help him adjust. Introductions to new people and new dogs have to be on a slow basis because he can get scared in new situations. If a new person starts to pet him he will just lay down for more lovin', and if you stop he will let you know he wants more! He is housebroken and crate-trained, and loves playing with all the dogs at his southern foster home. He came from an outdoor living situation where the dogs were not well socialized but he is thriving at an indoor foster home.
To apply to adopt this dog, please visit our web site to access our application and learn more about adoption through Lucky Pup Rescue, www.luckypuprescue.org.
Please note, we do not have a physical location, but we are supported by a network of wonderful foster homes that are spread throughout New England. A dog will need to be visited by a prospective adopter in the foster home where they are feeling safe and comfortable.
