Sadie's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Sadie's Story...
Sadie is a female pup, not quite 4 months old having been born at the end of January 2013. She has green eyes and spiked hair! She has overall very unique looks for such a young pup and enough spunk to be a family dog.

She is being crate, house and leash trained and being set up for success!

Are you interested in adopting Sadie or another JCAPL pet you have seen? You'll need to start by completing an adoption application, available online at our website: www.jcapl.org. There is no obligation to adopt by completing an application, however, we do recommend submitting an application as soon as you find an animal you are interested in. We review applications in the order they are received.

Completed applications can be sent via email to adopt@jcapl.org, faxed to 919-300-5524, or delivered in person by visiting us at one of our adoption events on Saturdays at PetSmart in Garner (White Oak Shopping Center).

We will contact you as soon as possible once we receive your application for Sadie.

Thanks for thinking adoption!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sadie, a Smithfield Husky/Golden Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/Golden Retriever for sale in Smithfield, or seeking a Husky/Golden Retriever puppy from a breeder in Smithfield.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Smithfield already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Smithfield breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/Golden Retriever breeders who help with Husky/Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Smithfield paves the way for another one to be saved.
