Hoda's Story...
Hoda is approx 3 yrs old and 35 lbs, this wheaten mix can run and play with the best of them - but she is a very special dog because she survived distemper and the only lingering symptom seems to be some limping in one of her back legs. She loves to play tag and tug of war with the other dogs, she loves toys and always has one in her mouth that she seems to like to dunk in her water bowl, she loves attention and does have some food aggression so would need to be fed apart from other dogs, she can go on walks, she tires a little more easily than other dogs but she is really an amazing girl and just so pretty, would prefer no young children more an adult home for her where she can gets lots of loving -

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hoda, a Norwalk Wheaten Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Wheaten Terrier for sale in Norwalk, or seeking a Wheaten Terrier dog from a breeder in Norwalk.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Norwalk already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Norwalk breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Wheaten Terrier breeders who help with Wheaten Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Norwalk paves the way for another one to be saved.
