CHARLIE's Story...
Charlie Hound is a handsome 5 year old love of a dog. He is a stunningly beautiful Black and Tan Coonhound that has an amazing singing voice and a loving personality to match. He is a ladies’ man, we are told and he proves it by giving all the girls kisses. He would be best living with someone that has some land and neighbors who will find the occasional howl and run that Charlie is known for, to be just fine ….or maybe enjoyable! This boy is great with other dogs and we are willing to cat test him. At the mature age of 5 years, you will find him to be more settled and self-assured about who he is and with a fully developed and predictable temperament. If you don’t know much about this breed, be sure to read up. They are unique dogs and destined to thrive in the right environments. Land, love and a great family is what Charlie Hound needs. ADOPTION FEE REQUIRED. CONTACT US AT 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CHARLIE, a Salem Black and Tan Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Black and Tan Coonhound for sale in Salem, or seeking a Black and Tan Coonhound dog from a breeder in Salem.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Salem already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Salem breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Black and Tan Coonhound breeders who help with Black and Tan Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Salem paves the way for another one to be saved.
