Sachi's Story...
Sachi has been a blessing to foster. She is smart, funny, and beautiful. Sachi plays wonderfully with our other three dogs and our cat. She is a little shy when it comes to new situations and objects. However, with just a little time and patience she quickly relaxes and accepts it. She loves to cuddle and be by your side. She also loves to talk and use her paws to play with you. Sachi listens well and is eager to learn. She is learning to walk on a leash and already knows sit, down, and hi (shake). Sachi is crate trained and enjoys retreating to her kennel when she needs a nap. She has never chewed on furniture but still needs an watchful eye on her because she is a curious puppy. She has been quick to learn what she can and cannot play with. Although not a big barker, she will let out some warning barks if she hears things outside or if she needs the back door opened for a potty break. Sachi still has an occasional accident in the house when she gets excited but for the most part is potty trained. Sachi would make a great companion to a child and a great pal to existing furry family members. She is going to make a wonderful addition to someone's family. She has received all of her puppy shots, been spayed, and is microchipped. Please only consider Sachi if you can commit time and energy to her for the next 13-15 years.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sachi, a Scottsdale German Shorthaired Pointer/Akita puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shorthaired Pointer/Akita for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a German Shorthaired Pointer/Akita puppy from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shorthaired Pointer/Akita breeders who help with German Shorthaired Pointer/Akita rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
