Tia is a beautiful golden tabby about 10 years old. She was owned previously but there were too many animals in the household and she was surrendered along with two other siblings to APR. She is now on thyroid medicine and has lost a couple of pounds and doing very well medically. She is a very sweet cat who does not really appreciate living with so many other cats in the same room. She would be much happier in a home being the only cat or one of a few. If you have a nice, quiet atmosphere and would love to have a feline companion, she's your girl!

PLEASE NOTE: We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director. We do not do same day adoptions or ship animals. For additional information on our adoption policies, visiting hours and directions please go to Abandoned Pet Rescue.

About Abandoned Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Shelter...

Abandoned Pet Rescue is a 501 ( c ) (3) IRS tax-exempt, qualified charitable organization that rescues, shelters, and cares for countless abandoned and abused animals and finds them new homes. We have been serving the South Florida community since 1996. Our no-kill animal shelter is located in Ft. Lauderdale, where volunteers of all ages help perform the duties of running the shelter and our operations on a day-to-day basis, creating a mutually beneficial relationship between animals and the community. By conducting neighborhood sweeps, APR helps reduce the pet over population by spaying and neutering feral cats with the use of a mobile veterinary facility.
