Tommy is a very sweet and gentle cat left at our front door a couple of weeks ago. He is easy to take care of but does not like being in a cage. He is slender and smart and loves people. Tommy is 3 to 5 years old and about 8 pounds. Tommy is positive for feline aids.

PLEASE NOTE: We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director. About Our Shelter...

Abandoned Pet Rescue is a 501 ( c ) (3) IRS tax-exempt, qualified charitable organization that rescues, shelters, and cares for countless abandoned and abused animals and finds them new homes. We have been serving the South Florida community since 1996. Our no-kill animal shelter is located in Ft. Lauderdale, where volunteers of all ages help perform the duties of running the shelter and our operations on a day-to-day basis, creating a mutually beneficial relationship between animals and the community. By conducting neighborhood sweeps, APR helps reduce the pet over population by spaying and neutering feral cats with the use of a mobile veterinary facility.
