Zula is a small female grey tabbly about 3 pounds and born about April 2011. She is a bit frightened and timid but just needs someone who can handle her a lot and earn her trust. She is very small and quiet but does well with her siblings. UPDATE - Zula is still at the shelter but is in the adult cat/sanctuary room. She likes being able to run, play and climb and this room is large enough for her to do all of that. She is also able to go outdoors and take sunbaths which she also enjoys. Zula is now a couple of years old, much more sociable and about 8 pounds.

PLEASE NOTE: We require all interested parties to come to the shelter to meet the pet, complete an adoption application, and interview with our Director. We do not do same day adoptions or ship animals. For additional information on our adoption policies, visiting hours and directions please go to Abandoned Pet Rescue.

About Abandoned Pet Rescue, Inc.

About Our Shelter...

Abandoned Pet Rescue is a 501 ( c ) (3) IRS tax-exempt, qualified charitable organization that rescues, shelters, and cares for countless abandoned and abused animals and finds them new homes. We have been serving the South Florida community since 1996. Our no-kill animal shelter is located in Ft. Lauderdale, where volunteers of all ages help perform the duties of running the shelter and our operations on a day-to-day basis, creating a mutually beneficial relationship between animals and the community. By conducting neighborhood sweeps, APR helps reduce the pet over population by spaying and neutering feral cats with the use of a mobile veterinary facility.
