My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

My name is Buffy. I was in my first heat when my owner decided he could no longer keep me so surrendered me to a gassing shelter. I was terrified! A nice lady saw me and took me into her rescue. Phew! Saved in the nick of time. I won’t be having heat cycles ever again as I am now spayed. Luckily I am heartworm negative too. I am now fully vaccinated, microchipped, and on heartworm/flea tick preventatives. I like to play ball, and play with toys. My former owner said I was ok with cats but my foster Mom doesn’t have any so she isn’t sure. I like playing with other dogs- am good with children. I tend to be a bit bossy with smaller and younger dogs but I really am a good girl. I was probably born August 2012. I am fully-grown and weigh 21 lbs. My foster Mom thinks I am a wee bit pudgy! I dream of having a fur-ever home of my own- a fenced yard to run around in as I am an active pup but I want to be inside with my family at night.
