My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This handsome guy is named Boomer. Boomer is male, approximately 12 - 18 months old, and weighs 35 lbs. He has been neutered, will be current on his vaccinations soon and is on all his monthly preventatives for heart worms, fleas/ticks, and parasites. He appears to have some Labrador retriever and possibly a Kelpie shepherd mix in him. I could not get his pointed ears to stand up while I was taking his pictures since he was quite camera shy, but his ears to stand up similar to a Kelpie shepherd that we have had recently and also in the same color.

Here is the story on Boomer. His family had him and another female that they kept in their backyard. The family moved. The dogs did not. When the family was contacted they assured us that they would be returning to pick up the dogs. That was over a month ago and the dogs were never picked up. We now have them with our rescue and we are looking for them a good home. Boomer is a very sweet guy and a little on the shy side. He is very friendly and seems to get along well with other dogs. He just arrived so we have not had a chance to cat est him or have him around children, but if you are interested, we would be happy to give you a full report on how he does in any situation. Boomer will complete his vaccinations in a couple of weeks and be ready to transport soon.
