Hazel's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, and good with cats.

Hazel's Story...
Hazel has gorgeous hazel eyes and a beautiful tail. The hair around her head is typical of a Maine Coon, but she is under 10 pounds and solid black. She is sweet-natured, but shy. She licks your face and rubs against your hands or body ... very loving. She likes other quiet cats. Hazel was rescued as a kitten, so is not feral at all. She loves to watch outside from a cat tree or the window ledge. She may be four years old.
Hazel is beautiful, but will require patience to settle in and probably won't meet strangers in your home... although she is improving all the time. She was fostered for a while in a home with an office and she loved to interact with the lady while she tried to use her computer.
Could you add her to your home and let her learn to love you?

We know one picture is blurred, but she just won't hold still unless eating or trying to rub against the camera/phone. Wanted you to get a sense of her shape.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hazel, a Scottsdale Maine Coon cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Maine Coon for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Maine Coon cat from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Maine Coon breeders who help with Maine Coon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
