Axle's Story...
Meet Axle! He is an 8 month old Catahoula mix. 40-45 lbs or so, neutered, fully vaccinated, dewormed, and microchipped. He is doing well with my dogs but needs a kittyless home as he gets way to excited for their liking. He is quick to give kisses to all the people and dogs he meets. Wonderful little guy. He is being fostered near Huntsville, AL. If interested in adopting, please contact info@forrescue.net
Axle is being posted as a courtesy for an individual rescuer and is not affiliated with FOR.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Axle, a Knoxville Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Cattle Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Cattle Dog for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Cattle Dog dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Cattle Dog breeders who help with Catahoula Leopard Dog/Australian Cattle Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
