Jasmine's Story...
Jasmine was surrendered to the shelter because her family was moving... she just doesn't understand why she couldn't go with them because she loves to ride in the car, loves kids, loves dogs.... just absolutely loves EVERYTHING! Jasmine sleeps with a 4-year-old girl, plays with an 8-year-old boy and has many furry foster brothers and sisters. She’s a happy dog and would love to be with a family who pays lots of attention to her. She rides well in the car and loves to be with her family! This is an all-around all star dog. Jasmine loves treats and toys; she also knows sit and shake and is eager to learn more. Absolutely an all around easy-going girl who just can't wait to have a family to call her very own!!! She is about 2 years old and weighs about 40 lbs. She is spayed, current on all vaccines, microchipped and current on heartworm and flea prevention. Jasmine would make a great addition to most any family. Please email us at for more information. She is being fostered near Huntsville, AL.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jasmine, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
