My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello new friends!! Thank-you for clicking on my picture! Let me tell you a little bit about myself so that we can get to know each other better.

My brothers and sisters and I were Sooooooo incredibly lucky that a kind Detroit Police Officer found our mommy wandering in the parking lot down town confused, hungry, and all alone. She gave my mommy some yummy food, some fresh water, and a soft place to lay as she called the awesome people at NBS Animal Rescue to help her. Momma Mandy Mae came to NBS and was placed in the most amazing of foster homes - they took such wonderful care of her! My mom is super sweet and loves to be near people - she's gentle and mellow and very loving. She weighs about 45 lbs.

When my siblings and I were born they helped our mom deliver each and every one of the nine of us fur-kids and made sure she was healthy and as comfortable as possible during the birth. Those NBS people are awesome!! We were born on May 3rd and are looking for fur-ever homes that will take care of us, love us, teach us lots of new tricks, and cherish us as a member of their family. We won't be ready to take the adventure to our new homes until we are spayed and/or neutered and have had two rounds of puppy vaccines and three rounds of de-wormings, as well as get our microchips but it's never too soon to start looking for that perfect fur-ever home! My foster mom says that we should be up to date on all of our medical needs and ready to venture out into the world without our momma around the Fourth of July...I think they called that Independence Day! =)

If you think that I might be a wonderful fit in your family, please visit the NBS website and fill out an adoption application. Stay tuned to our page here as my foster dad promises to update our photos as we get bigger!

My adoption fee is $250.00 and includes 2 DHPP vaccines, bordatella vaccine, 3 De-wormings, spay/neuter surgery, heartworm preventative, flea/tick preventative, microchip insertion, bath, nail trim, ear cleaning, leash and collar and one week's worth of food.

If you think that I might be the perfect addition to your family, please contact the awesome volunteers at N.B.S. Animal Rescue at nbsanimalrescue@gmail.com for any additional information or answers to any questions you might have. You can fill out a simple online adoption application at www.nbsar.org and we will start processing your application right away! We do require that persons interested in meeting me apply online and be approved as an adopter first so please visit our website and submit your application today! Our adoption process requires that any pet in your household be current on it's vaccinations and heartworm preventative as well as spayed/neutered unless there is a documented medical reason on file with your veterinarian. Dogs must be current on DHLPP, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative, cats must be current on Distemper, Rabies, and Heartworm Preventative at the time of application. While I hope that you have fallen in love with me and will fill out an adoption application right away, I understand if I might not be the perfect pup for your family. Would you please help me by sharing my picture and information on your Facebook page, or e-mail to your friends and family members? I'm a great pup and I really deserve a loving family to give all of my love and puppy kisses to! Thank-you for your help!
