Amber's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Amber's Story...
Amber and several other dogs were confiscated from a home in another County suspected of dog fighting, and she was held by court order. It was determined by the Court, that she was a "breeding" dog, not a "fighting" dog, and was allowed to live. During the round up, her eye was injured. Sadly, the injury was so severe, the eye needed to be removed. Amber has come a long way and is a happy dog in her new life.. She is still a bit timid at first, but warms up when she gets to know you. She gets anxious from the energy of small children, and would do well with older children, and in a quiet or semi-active home environment. She is housebroken, walks very well on a leash and is good with other dogs and cats.. Her adoption fee includes her spay, vaccination booster, microchip and rabies shot with County License tag.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
