My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

The neglect and abuse were more than obvious on this sweet girls emaciated body when she was first brought to the shelter, but her heart is as big as ever. Jerzee is approximately 3 years old and was transferred from another local shelter to foster care. It appears that she may have had puppies at one time, but it is unknown if for sure or when. She is very affectionate and loves to be around people. She is currently in a foster home with other dogs and cats.

If nearly starving to death was not enough for this poor sweet heart to go through, shortly after her arrival it was discovered that she was heartworm positive. But thanks to the love and care of her foster family she under went treatment and is not heartworm free. She has gained weight and has been spayed. What's next for Jerzee?
