Sherman's Story...
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

This animal is with CompAnimals Rescue.  If you are interested in learning more please contact:

SHERMAN is a wonderful dog - who has been overlooked at our adoption center. He was originally adopted from us as a pup & then returned when the husband was deployed to Afghanistan and then there was something about a new baby. Sherman is about 7 years old & still very active (although he has bad knees which preclude him from loooong hikes - 1-3 miles is good for Sherman). Sherman went through a training class at The Perfect Pooch in King of Prussia & attended doggy day care there under the former owner. He is indeed good with other dogs (not so much with cats). Sherman would do best in an adult only home as children make him nervous. A very loyal guy who will be the perfect companion for some lucky person out there! He is (of course) neutered, vaccinated & on heartworm prevention. Please email for more info or fill out an application.

About All Shepherd Rescue

About Our Rescue Group...

We are a group of German Shepherd lovers who help homeless German Shepherds that are in dire straits and need rescue.

We rescue dogs from kill shelters or other situations where the dogs' life is in danger. We fully vet our dogs and our wonderful fosters care for our dogs until their "forever home" is found!

We are a dating service for dogs, helping potential adopters find the perfect match for their families. We will work with you tirelessly until we find the perfect fit for your family!

We make a lifetime commitment to every dog and every adopter and we are there to answer questions and help with the transition to your home.

Why do we do it? We LOVE dogs , especially German Shepherds, and it breaks our hearts that so many adoptable GSD's never make it out of shelters.

We are an all volunteer group and are always looking for new volunteers to help us in our mission to save dogs!

FOSTERS, we need YOU!!!!

We need fosters to provide a safe haven while a dog is waiting for his/her forever home! If you think you cannot foster because you couldn't let your foster dog leave, talk to us!! While many of us have adopted one or more of our fosters ( we call it Failing Fostering 101 !!!) we can tell you how wonderful it is to see your foster become a beloved addition to a new family.............and opens up a space to save another dog on death row!

If you have any questions at all about fostering please give us a shout and we are happy to answer all questions.

If you cannot foster, we always need volunteers to help host events, do fundraising and PR .

And , of course, we always need donations to pay the vets who keep our dogs healthy and the trainers who help us with doggie manners!

Donations are always welcome and very much appreciated!

Come Meet Our Pets...

All of our dogs are in foster homes and are seen by appointment for approved adopters.

Our dogs also attend many dog meet and greet events at Adoption Events, Petsmart and Petco and other venues.

Check our Events Listing on our website: for an updated listing of where we will be!

Our Adoption Process...

We require an application, personal and vet references and a home visit done by an All Shepherd Rescue volunteer.
Our application fee is $250.
Fencing is not always required subject to a satisfactory Home Visit.
