Fiesta (& Carla)'s Story...
Fiesta was a teenage mom rescued from a high kill shelter along with two tiny kittens. Her foster mom describes her as extremely loving & affectionate... friendly to everyone she meets! She loves to be petted & snuggle and does the most adorable "reindeer leap" to reach your hand, as you see in the video. Fiesta will join you on the sofa or bed looking for attention or just to be close by. She's a very petite girl, who settles in easily. Fiesta loves her canned food and would make the purr-fect apartment cat/family pet. Now 2 yrs old, she has been waiting for a home of her own for a long time.. Looking for a pair? Fiesta would love to stay with her remaining kitten, Carla (see separate posting).

Carla is year old. She is a bit skittish, but curious and always keeps an eye on things. She loves to be pet when food is involved. Though she is scared when many folks are around, she enjoys being in the same room keeping watch when it's one-on-one (especially if there is a box she can cozy in). She enjoys a variety of toys & is happy to entertain herself while you are at work. She is very bonded with her mom and they would like to remain together.
Carla & Fiesta come fully vetted and are microchipped, too! Meet them in their Arlington, VA foster home. Updated 3/26/15

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Fiesta (& Carla), a Arlington Abyssinian cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Abyssinian for sale in Arlington, or seeking a Abyssinian cat from a breeder in Arlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Arlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Arlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Abyssinian breeders who help with Abyssinian rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Arlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
