Flounder's Story...
This is Flounder... Isn't he just adorable??? Flounders approximate date of birth is January 3, 2007. He and his sister were found as strays. Flounder is a wonderful puppy... We adore him!! He does well with other dogs and will do well with cats. Flounder was adopted out but returned to us. Soon after he was adopted, he was stolen from his new back yard and nearly killed. He was found almost 1 week later lying in a ditch almost dead. It took a long time for him to recover physically and longer still mentally. Flounder has been back with us for a few months and doing great. He loves people and just needs his new family to be Alpha dog. Flounder is current on his vaccinations, rabies and heartworm prevention. He is neutered and has tested negative for heartworms. His adoption fee is $90.00. A home check may be required in order to adopt Flounder. We want to be sure he is matched up with the right family for him. Please call or email us if you are intersted in meeting this sweetheart.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Flounder, a Sealy Newfoundland dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Newfoundland for sale in Sealy, or seeking a Newfoundland dog from a breeder in Sealy.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sealy already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sealy breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Newfoundland breeders who help with Newfoundland rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sealy paves the way for another one to be saved.
