Abby's Story...
Meet Abby!

Abby is an adorable 2-year-old Chihuahua girl. She has tons of energy and is very affectionate as well as confident. She loves to cuddle and give kisses. She would be best with older children, and has shown no reaction to cats but has also not lived with one either. She's OK with dogs in a dog-park setting but prefers to be the only dog in the home.

Abby loves to be with people and would do best in a home where she's not left alone for extremely long periods of time, but there are lots of solutions from sitters to doggy daycare to family that could allow her to settle in well with someone who has a full-time job!

Abby has two cute little teeth that poke up toward her lip, which is what you see in some of the pictures, giving her a bit of a unique little smile

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Abby, a Pitt Meadows Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Pitt Meadows, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Pitt Meadows.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Pitt Meadows already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Pitt Meadows breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Pitt Meadows paves the way for another one to be saved.
