Jackson's Story...
Hi, they call me Jackson! I was born around Feb. 14, 2013 (Valentine's Day) and I am one lucky pup! My mom is an 8# white chihuahua who was a stray. When I was about 3 weeks old, a big dog attacked my mom and broke her back. The Animal Control Officer brought us into a Shelter where we would all have been killed - my mom because she was too severely hurt and my sister, Jordan, and me because we needed to be bottle fed and there was no one at the Shelter who could do that. There was a Rescue picking up another dog at the Shelter and the ACO asked them if they could possibly take us as we would have to be killed. I was quite a bit smaller than my sister, but I have finally caught up to her! I have a very cute, shar pei looking face. I was always very outgoing and really let you know what I want. I am living with other pups and dogs, but haven't been around cats. I need a home that will continue to get me socialized and can train me to be a great little doggy! I am getting a series of three puppy shots and will be neutered soon and micro chipped, too. My adoption donation is $250. Please call or text (925) 209-6480 or email for more info and to meet me in person.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jackson, a Phoenix Chihuahua puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Chihuahua puppy from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
