Owen's Story...
Meet Owen! He is an affectionate, sweet cat and very playful. He would love to find his forever home soon! He is strictly an indoor cat. He always uses a scratching post, which is great as he is not a candidate for declawing due to his age (he is 11 months old). He has done well with children in the past, and does well acclimating to living with other cats, but would also do well being the only pet in the home. He always uses the litter box and He is healthy.

He is up to date on vaccines and FIV/FeLv negative.

He will go to his new home with medical records and his adoption fee is $25.

Call or email for more information or to meet Owen. He is currently living in foster care in Cottage Grove, WI.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Owen, a Madison Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Madison, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in Madison.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Madison already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Madison breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Madison paves the way for another one to be saved.
