Jodie still cowers a little when you reach down to pet her – no one was very kind to her before now. It will take time to teach her to trust because she is so skittish; she will need a loving and patient parent. She really is a wonderful girl and she finally has a chance at the happiness she deserves. You should see her sit up pretty to get a treat. She is gentle when she takes the goody right out of my hand. What a sweetie-pie.
Jodie will need a securely fenced yard because she is a flight risk. Because of her small size, she will not be placed in a home with large dogs or children under 12 years old. She would be happiest with a gentle forever person that works from home so she could receive all the love and attention that she has always dreamed of.
This adorable little girl with the pretty face is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, heart worm negative, on preventative and micro-chipped. Jodie was born on May 15, 2005 and weighs just 13 lbs.
We would prefer to place Jodie within driving distance of her foster home. If you live farther away, once approved, you may fly to Arkansas and Jodie must fly home in the cabin with her new family. Under no circumstances, can Jodie ever be shipped in cargo. Our dogs are never placed in homes with invisible (electric) fencing. Doggy doors are OK as long as they are secured at night and when you are gone. Jodie is small enough to be carried away by a coyote or other predator so should never be outside alone.
