Goldie's Story...
Hi, my name is Goldie. I am a 3 month old Female pitbull/boxer mix. I am a good girl who needs a loving home to take me to obedience classes. I need to go to a home with children who are 6 years old or older, but this is negotiable. If you are interested in me please come down to the Humane Society of Kent County. They are located @3077 Wilson dr Walker MI 49534. That is on Wilson just north of 3 mile. You must fill out an adoption application and have an interview with an adoption counselor before you can visit with me. I, along with all of the animals at the Humane Society, are spayed or neutered before we go home. We are also up to date on vaccines. If you have questions about what your adoption includes or how the process works you can visit our website or come on down. They are open Tue-Fri 12-7 and Sat 11-4.

This pet comes with an implanted 24PetWatch microchip and free registration into the 24PetWatch pet recovery service. For more information call 1-866-597-2424

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie, a Walker American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in Walker, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer puppy from a breeder in Walker.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Walker already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Walker breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Walker paves the way for another one to be saved.
