My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Kibou is a puppy mill dog. Unlike most mill dogs she had a short stay as a pet in a home until she was a couple years old. Then her life of comfort was replaced with horror and hopelessness as she lived in a cage for the past 5 years being bred for greed. Kibou quickly remembered what is means to live in a house. She is fully house trained and has not had any accidents indoors. She let’s you know when she needs to go out. Kibou is friendly to all dogs and people she has met. She is scared of camera’s (probably countless photos of her puppies for internet sales bring back horrible memories). Kibou is a bit scared of new loud noises but with a comforting person nearby she learns to accept new sounds. Kibou knows how to walk on a harness and loves to go for walks.
Kibou’s front left paw is crushed. She has had xrays and our vet says she is not in pain and there is no need for surgery. She is in great health and will adjust wonderfully to a calm environment. Kibou will be adopted out with a positive training contract.

Kibou is fine with cats. He likes MOST dogs (does not like unneutered males and some males). Ideally, we would like Kibou and Tsuyoi adopted together but will consider separating them.
