Facts about Walnut

  • Age: Adult
  • Sex: Female
  • ID#: 5683220
  • Hair: Short

Walnut is a silky, shiny, beautifully proportioned young black kitty who had a bit of a rough start.  She was born with a film over both eyes so for the first 6-7 weeks of her life, she was blind.  Our wonderful vet treated her eyes multiple times to remove the film from her eyes, and we used special eye drops to keep the film from growing back, and now our little Walnut can see.  She was always a playful, fun-loving girl, but now she can see what she’s chasing, including the laser pointer.  Her vision isn’t perfect, but you would never know she doesn’t have perfect sight.  Her eyes look a little different, but you hardly notice it because she’s such a looker!  She is an incredibly sweet, well-mannered kitty with a zest for life.  She gets along well with other cats, is active but not destructive, enjoys being petted, very low maintenance.  An all around super girl!

Walnut was born in July 2012.  She has been spayed, tested negative for FELV/FIV, is current on her FVRCP and Rabies vaccines, dewormed and treated with Revolution.
