Edison's Story...
Edison is a very special soul. As you can see from some of his photos, Edison was not in the best shape when we rescued him. He had a number of growths on his body, had a eye infection and was matted and filthy. His foster mom prompted shaved him down and gave him a bath. We had the questionable growths removed and thankfully those proved to be benign. Now Edison is healthy, clean and ready to share his amazing personality and heart with everyone.

His foster mom reports that he is the best foster dog she's ever had! He is a mellow, loving, gentle dog. Edison gets along very well with other dogs and people. He loves his walks so much that his foster mom takes him out twice a day. Edison also knows some basic commands, rides well in the car and is learning to play with some toys.

Edison is looking for a home with another dog to help keep him company, of course daily walks are a must for this sweet boy and lots of snuggle time and love! If you're looking for a mellow, sweet and loving dog, look no further. Edison is the dog for you. Please fill out an application for him today. He is eager to get started on the next chapter of his life -

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Edison, a Phoenix Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
