Polo's Story...
Hi everyone, I'm Polo! I'm still just a puppy, they say I'm 6-12 months old and I only weigh 40lbs. I'm probably some sort of beagle/boxer mix but I'm not completely sure what I am, other than adorable. I'm hoping to find a nice home, where I have a family who will feed me well so I can put a little meat on my bones cause I'm just a skinny little guy right now! But that's ok, because all the volunteers say the nicest things about me, like I'm so cute and such a little sweetie. And they say my eyes are really pretty and I look like I'm wearing eyeliner but that's just silly because I'm a boy! But really I just love when they pay attention to me so they can say whatever they want if it means I'll get some loving. I met a couple other dogs here and I seem to be pretty playful with them so I would probably be ok with a doggie sibling. Please come down to meet me and bring the whole family with you!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Polo, a Philadelphia Boxer/Beagle dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer/Beagle for sale in Philadelphia, or seeking a Boxer/Beagle dog from a breeder in Philadelphia.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Philadelphia already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Philadelphia breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer/Beagle breeders who help with Boxer/Beagle rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Philadelphia paves the way for another one to be saved.
