Sofia's Story...
Sofia is a friendly young cat who was abandoned on the street by her owner. She was found delivering her babies in a storage shed. She has been an incredible momma cat and has raised a beautiful litter of kittens. Now it is her turn to be pampered and taken care of. Sofia is talkative and inquisitive. She loves to explore and hates to be in a crate or confined space. She likes to be with people. She is a petite girl with the sincerest eyes. If you have room in your heart, Sofia would love to fill it. She was in a foster home with dogs and may do well in a home with a well-mannered cat friendly dog.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sofia, a Escondido Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Escondido, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Escondido.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Escondido already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Escondido breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Escondido paves the way for another one to be saved.
