My story

Gigi’s adoption fee is $375.

Gigi is a 16 month old Shih Tzu/Poodle mix weighing about 12 pounds that is spayed and up to date with her vaccines, and micro chipped. She came into rescue with some socialization issues with humans as well as other dogs; she had been living with 5 cats and did not interact with other dogs or people very much. She has come a long way and has learned to play well with her foster family’s dogs. We feel that she would be happiest with other animals in the home to keep her company.

Gigi is not destructive at all, and is house trained. She is also crate trained if someone is away from the home during the day. She may whine a little when you leave, but settles in a few minutes. She is still frightened of humans when she meets them, but has again come a long way since she’s been in foster care. She will need a home with experienced dog owners that have the patience to help her build confidence when meeting new people. Gigi is a happy little girl here and her tail wags most of the time - she loves her cuddles and sleeps well at night. If you feel you can provide the love and patience to help Gigi along, she will pay you back tenfold.
