Goldie Hawn's Story...
If you know anything about the blond bombshell with my same name, you know that she has had a long term loving relationship with her partner for the last 30 years… That is the kind of love and devotion that I too will promise to the one that commits their self to me. All I have ever wanted was for someone to love and accept me for who I am. I have a really good feeling that it is about to happen! I will need some confidence boosting and can be rather timid. So a family with children 8+ will be the best fit for me, because they'll have had a few years practice at knowing how to be sweet and gentle with girls like me. I would do just great in a home with cats, I don’t really pay any attention to them and other dogs are a-ok with me. I am doing great with mt crate training here as well and would love to continue even more training in my new home. Just be warned…If you come to see me be careful, you might just go Overboard when you meet me! 1 year old-44lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; microchip, spay, reduced cost Training Class, free veterinary exam, 1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie Hawn, a Portland Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Portland, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
