Twinkie is a female Poodle mix approximately 2 years of age. She is quite small, weighing only 8 pounds. Her fur is a wispy, fine, soft apricot color and it appears to be non-shedding. Twinkie is a sweet baby girl who likes to be pampered and coddled. She adores attention and loves being with her people. You can always count on her to be by your side, trotting along merrily on walks or curled up against your feet during quiet time at home. Twinkie loves snuggling and fits nicely in on a lap or in your arms. She is easy to manage and light to carry. Twinkie gets along great with other dogs her size and is good with cats and children. She is a nice all-around little doggy. Twinkie is good in public and likes to be included in daily activities. She walks nicely on leash with a harness. Twinkie adores food and treats almost as much as she loves people. When the goodies come out, she gets very excited and becomes super attentive and perky. She will do anything for a tasty morsel! Some of this is probably due to the fact that Twinkie came in stray to a very high kill shelter completely starved. She was kept in the medical building at first while the shelter staff slowly re-fed her multiple small meals throughout the day. Twinkie was so hungry and thirsty. She is doing great now and is a frequent visitor of the large bowl of dry kibble that sits out all day for her. She is a grateful young dog and will make a very loyal little pet. Twinkie never wants to be hungry or homeless again. She is healthy and ready for her new bright future and forever home today!

Twinkie’s adoption donation is $350 (*TAX DEDUCTABLE). She has been SPAYED, MICROCHIPPED, VACCINATED, DEWORMED, DEFLEAED and PROFESSIONALLY GROOMED. Also included is her collar with ID, harness, leash, folder with all of her records, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

Twinkie is being fostered by Pet Match Rescue Foster Volunteer, Mary M. and is ready for her forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

TWINKIE, a Newport Beach Poodle (Miniature) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Poodle (Miniature) for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Poodle (Miniature) dog from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Poodle (Miniature) breeders who help with Poodle (Miniature) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
