Nickleby's Story...
Introducing...Nickleby!! Now here's a heartbreaker for you! Nickleby is a 7 month old, gorgeous, all white, Brittany Spaniel/English Setter mix. Not only is he a heartbreaker, he is as sweet and as loving as can be. His little docked tail is very endearing! Why would that be endearing? Have you ever seen a docked tail on these two breeds? It will be love at first sight when you meet him. We don't know if he gets along with cats or if he's housebroken. Obedience training is always advisable with one so young.

Nickleby's adoption fee is $200 and covers the cost of his neuter, vaccines, preventative medications, microchip and 30 day free trial pet insurance.

We are a 501c3 non profit organization and your adoption fee is a tax deductible contribution.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Nickleby, a Delaware Brittany/English Setter dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Brittany/English Setter for sale in Delaware, or seeking a Brittany/English Setter dog from a breeder in Delaware.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Delaware already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Delaware breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Brittany/English Setter breeders who help with Brittany/English Setter rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Delaware paves the way for another one to be saved.
