Brownie's Story...
Brownie is a handsome, well behaved, 11 month old puppy. He loves to play and has lots of puppy energy. He is very smart, friendly and cuddly and would love to find an active family who can keep up with an energetic boy who can be a little overbearing. He already knows some basic commands, and with consistent training, his youthful exuberance could be easily kept in check. He loves to ride in the car, and sits quietly and patiently. He would do best in a home with a fenced in yard without young children, cats, or small dogs, because he is large, playful and young. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Brownie, a New Bedford American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer for sale in New Bedford, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer dog from a breeder in New Bedford.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in New Bedford already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a New Bedford breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier/Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in New Bedford paves the way for another one to be saved.
