Bugzy's Story...
Meet Bugzy!!!

Bugzy is an adorable, 9-year old, visually impaired, shepherd mix. He is looking for a forever home where he can live his golden years like a king. Bugzy may be visually impaired, but his lack of perfect sight does not seem to slow him down much at all, he may bump into the walls, or furniture when he first moves into a new home, but he very quickly adjusts and learns his way around.

Bugzy is an old fashioned kind of guy and prefers a nice and easy, slow introduction to new people. He likes to take his time and sniff the world around him. He might at his best in a quiet home with no cats or children under 16 years old. He is up to date with his age appropriate vaccinations, neutered, dewormed, heartworm negative, and micro-chipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bugzy, a Gurnee Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Shepherd (Unknown Type) for sale in Gurnee, or seeking a Shepherd (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Gurnee.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gurnee already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gurnee breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Shepherd (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Shepherd (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gurnee paves the way for another one to be saved.
