Freckles's Story...
My name is Frekles I am approx. 4-6 yrs of age. I was found starved and full of ticks. I had to be shaved because I was severely matted so my pictures reflect a before and after grooming. I was a little shy at first, but now I am very loving and happy to be with people who care about me. I am a very sweet boy. I am doing well on my house training. I am neutered, up to date on my vaccinations, I am also micro-chipped. I would love to be in a home where I can be loved, cared for and not have to worry about anything except where or who's bed I am going to sleep in. Can you give me that forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Freckles, a Harrisonburg Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in Harrisonburg, or seeking a Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in Harrisonburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Harrisonburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Harrisonburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Harrisonburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
