Cody's Story...
Cody is about 1-2 years old. He is such a love. A million kisses and a million thank you's and I love yous. He is a snuggler too. Right by you at night and always seems so grateful for all you give him. This guy is so outgoing. He is well rounded and would make a great walking partner. He is still pretty playful so I would be more around a year. I was expecting a shy dog that needed work. Not Cody. He is friendly, happy and a good boy. We think he is Dachchund and Bassett but may have some Beagle in there too- just by looks alone. He is about 15-20lbs and should stay this size.

He is really sweet, looks like he is smiling and loves to sit at my feet if not in front of me playing. This guy is on the lookout for his forever home, his happy ending. He is serious too! He wants commitment! and what you get back is so much more. A best friend, loyalty, FAMILY. Call 530-777-8550 to learn more about this amazing little man.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Cody, a Yuba City Dachshund/Basset Hound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund/Basset Hound for sale in Yuba City, or seeking a Dachshund/Basset Hound dog from a breeder in Yuba City.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Yuba City already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Yuba City breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund/Basset Hound breeders who help with Dachshund/Basset Hound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Yuba City paves the way for another one to be saved.
