Onyx's Story...
Onyx and his sister, Diamond were rescued by one of our volunteers when they were found living outside as tiny babies. They would love to be adopted together, or at least into another home with a cat that they can bond with.

They are now safe, happy and very playful, although shy. He is about 7 months old..

HE IS NOW neutered, up to date on his vaccines, and tested and negative for felv/fiv..

If you are interested in him, please email amra444@msn.com and we can tell you if he will be at adoptions at our Petco adoption center on Rt 1 in Edison, south of Rt 287, in the Home Depot shopping center, open Sat & Sun, 11 to 4:30 and if he cant be there, we can email you an application to fill out.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Onyx, a East Brunswick Domestic Shorthair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in East Brunswick, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair cat from a breeder in East Brunswick.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in East Brunswick already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a East Brunswick breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in East Brunswick paves the way for another one to be saved.
