Pupcake's Story...
Pupcake is an approximately 1 and a half yr old Airedale terrier mix. She weighs about 45 lbs. She's a total love bug who LOVES to play! When she first came into our home Pupcake was terrified. I had to carry her inside the house. She didn't know what the inside of a house was. She has come a long way. She just learned how to go up and down the stairs and thinks it's a lot of fun to run up and down them! Pupcake will play tug-o-war with a furry friend or human companion. She loves squeaky toys and will fetch until she is tired. She loves kids and loves to be chased! She's great with both dogs and cats. We're still working on our basic commands. We have sit down pretty well. She's currently being fostered in Oakdale with 3 kids, 3 dogs, lots of cats.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pupcake, a Livermore Airedale Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Airedale Terrier for sale in Livermore, or seeking a Airedale Terrier dog from a breeder in Livermore.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Livermore already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Livermore breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Airedale Terrier breeders who help with Airedale Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Livermore paves the way for another one to be saved.
