Sam's Story...
Good Day All - My name is Sam - Sam I Am - Do you like green eggs and Ham?

My foster mom would like to tell you all about me, cause she seems to think I am something special - yes that I am - Sam I Am.

Sam is approx 10 years old and boy oh boy he sure is a happy boy. Sam I Am is happy when he wakes up in the morning, happy to eat breakfast, happy to play, happy to lay by your feet and watch the world go by, happy to take treats, happy to sleep by your bed at night. Sam is just a happy boy. Sam will walk fairly well on leash after the first block or so, he's just happy to be going for a walk. He does know how to sit and will do a short sit/stay.

Sam take treats every so gently and is definitly not the in charge kind of guy - he's just the happy go lucky kind of guy. Sam gives the absolute best hugs ever and I've hugged a lot of foster dogs. Sam gives the best hugs by far. Sam has long lanky legs, he's gangly and gregarious.

Sam gets along great with his foster siblings but would also do fine as an only dog. He's totally fine sleeping while you are at work during the day. Sam also gets along fine with those other furry creatures called kitty cats. Sam I Am even gets along with squirrels and bunnies.

If you would like to give Sam I Am that elusive thing called a forever family give GRFR a call. Sam will be waiting for you - happily waiting I might add.

Thank you - Thank you - Sam I Am!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sam, a Denver Golden Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever for sale in Denver, or seeking a Golden Retriever dog from a breeder in Denver.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Denver already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Denver breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever breeders who help with Golden Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Denver paves the way for another one to be saved.
