My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Camille is a precious 2 year old, 5 1/2 lb little dog with flyaway ears. When Camille's foster mom first saw her at the shelter she was curled up in a ball on top of a kuranda bed, trembling like a leaf in the wind. Camille appeared to have been neglected. She had been shaved down, but still had remains of a few mats behind her ears and on her tummy.

We are guessing at her breed mix, hoping it will become more apparent as her fur coat grows back in. Seeing the little bit of silver on her ears and considering her size, we think part Yorkie, but she could also be part Maltese or toy Poodle.

Camille took a day or two to warm up and feel secure in her new environment. But her tail is now wagging and she happily follows her foster mom around the house, getting very excited if she hears the treat bag being opened. She likes hanging out with the other foster dogs too, sleeps nicely in a crate, and is doing very well on her housetraining.
