Obbi's Info...

Obbi's Story...
This handsome guy is Obbi (old blue eyes). He is shy until he gets to know you and his new home. Once he gets to know you though, he is your lap cat! He also loves to play with any type of toy and gets along with other cats. Don’t be alarmed if you notice a toy missing - Obbi has just hidden it in a different room. He is about six years old, neutered and up-to-date on all his vaccines. His foster mom is happy to brag (ok tell) you about him - so ask away! He might be pint size but his heart is gallon size.

To adopt you must first complete an adoption application and either come to an adoption event or arrange to meet the cat in its foster home. We do not do same day adoptions so, generally, we can only adopt within the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Obbi, a Gaithersburg Siamese cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Siamese for sale in Gaithersburg, or seeking a Siamese cat from a breeder in Gaithersburg.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Gaithersburg already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Gaithersburg breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Siamese breeders who help with Siamese rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Gaithersburg paves the way for another one to be saved.
