My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone my name is Misty and I am a beautiful little lop eared girl who had a very unfortunate start to life. I am wonderful with my litterbox habits and am learning to trust again. Although we don't know what happened to our little girl prior to coming into the rescue we know it was nothing good as she is terrified of being petted or held. If you sit calmly she will take a treat from your hand but whatever was done was not kind. When I first took her in she would actually scream if I touched her after she was evaluated to make sure there was nothing physical to cause her pain we can only conclude that people were not nice to this little girl. She does not bite or show any aggression whatsever she will actually hide and run from you but this is why an experienced home is required. Misty may actually do well with a bonded mate which would help her self-confidence.
