Ginger's Story...
Ginger is a curious girl with a beautiful smile! She's 11 weeks old and 20 pounds. She was living with his mom and litter of six within an electric fence enclosure with an old car for shade. She's now being house trained and cared for in a loving foster home - enjoying all the benefits of air conditioning and soft dog beds! She's affectionate and loves to investigate. She's fostered in Huntsville, AL and at time of adoption, will be spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, parasite free, and has had a full exam by his vet. She's a healthy girl with a bright future in front of her! To learn more about Ginger, please email INFO@FORrescue.net

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Ginger, a Knoxville Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Knoxville, or seeking a Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Knoxville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Knoxville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Knoxville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Knoxville paves the way for another one to be saved.
