Thor ($200 adoption fee)'s Story...
Thor is a precious and loving cocker spaniel that was found half starved to death and wandering alone. He now weighs about 17 lbs and still has a little weight to gain to be at his best! His foster mom says he is a great boy that loves to hang on the couch and be with you. He gets along fine with other dogs and he is great with kids too. His legs are longer than a regular cocker but he's too small to be a larger type spaniel. The vet estimates that he is between 8-10 years old. He has some cataracts starting but he can see fine and he loves to run around and play. If you love the seniors this guy would make a great pooch! He needs a wonderful home to retire that wont ever let him get into such a bad state again. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Thor ($200 adoption fee), a Brattleboro Cocker Spaniel dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Cocker Spaniel for sale in Brattleboro, or seeking a Cocker Spaniel dog from a breeder in Brattleboro.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Brattleboro already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Brattleboro breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Cocker Spaniel breeders who help with Cocker Spaniel rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Brattleboro paves the way for another one to be saved.
