Hello World,
My name is Lindy and I'm an amazingly sweet Bichon girl of about three who is delicate, tiny (only 11 pounds) and, did I mention, lovable? Mom says I excel in being lovable! Why I love big people and small people - and everything in between.
When you look at my picture please understand that the I was so badly matted I had to have my ‘old hair’ removed so my new hair could grow in – and it is. I’m soft and white and soon I’ll be soft, white and fluffy. So please bear with me ‘cause I know you understand what a ‘bad hair day’ can be like.
I am housebroken (why that’s what doggy doors are for, right?) and love all the things that Bichons love - like walks, treats, cuddles, and rides in the car. In fact, Mom says I am an excellent car rider. And did I mention walks? Well I like my walks too! I also like to run and explore the yard, play fetch with my toys and get my belly rubbed! Mom says I'm dainty but I’m no pushover - and that's an interesting combination!
My human sisters agree that I'm quite the charmer. I like to fall asleep all cuddled up on someone, where I feel safe, warm, and loved. I love to be held and snuggle a lot – and sleep in the big people’s bed under the covers, too!
Mom wants you to know that I’m great with dogs of all sizes. Although there are other dogs in my foster home, I'm not the 'got-to-have-another-dog' kind of girl. I'm happiest just being able to be with my family and I don’t have what Mom calls ‘separation anxiety. (She says not having it is a good thing!)
So, if you’re looking for a little sweetheart who just loves to go for rides and walks, run and sun in the yard and then cuddle for all she's worth, then I'm your girl. Please ask for Lindy and I will snuggle my way into your heart.
